“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” – Revelation 7:9-10

This gives a picture of God’s heart for all peoples. God has always been about redeeming and restoring His people. From the beginning of the Bible we see God blessing the nation of Israel to be a blessing to all nations. What an incredible reality we have to look forward to: a diverse people called to be together for one purpose, to the worship of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords Jesus Christ – the Lamb who was slain. We look to that day and should all eagerly await and pursue the call God has for our lives.

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” – Matthew 24:14

The truth is there are people all around the world that have never heard of Jesus, different tribes, villages, languages that are unreached for Christ.

Citylight Church, we are one small part of what God is doing here in Omaha and all around the world! We are a church, but we are part of the greater church – the global church, and play a small part in helping fulfill the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20).

Our vision is to see the gospel transform the City of Omaha and beyond through multiplying disciples and churches. We are committed to going beyond, going to the nations, and continuing to pursue the vision not only here in Omaha, but everywhere.

VISION FOR MISSIONS:

Multiplying disciples and churches globally through strategic partnerships by raising up and sending laborers into the harvest field.

VALUES FOR MISSIONS:

Church Planting, Discipleship, Evangelism, Serving, Christian and Missionary Alliance (CMA) Relationships

PRIMARY FOCUS:

Pursuing a long-term partnership with the Christian and Missionary Alliance (CMA) in Southeast Asia with the vision of multiplying disciples and churches

THE NEED:

Thailand and Cambodia are both in the 10-40 window. They are part of the most unreached people groups in the world. There is a need for gospel-centered churches who will proclaim the name of Jesus Christ, holding Him and the Bible central
