Genesis 1-11
The book of Genesis is the first book of the Hebrew Bible and the Christian Old Testament. Understanding the story of the Bible requires we understand the beginning. The first 11 chapters tells the story of the creation of the world, the first humans (Adam and Eve), and the early history of humanity, the great flood, and the building of the Tower of Babel. The book explores themes such as the relationship between God and humanity, the importance of faith and obedience, and the consequences of sin. Genesis gives us the foundation for the biblical worldview.

Revisit familiar scenes of the giving of the Ten Commandments, the idolatrous worship of a golden calf, and of the intricate details of the tabernacle. And with fresh perspective, ask what these stories teach God's children today about how to live as those set free. We'll discover how the God who created you and made a covenant with you will deliver you from death to life, for His name and renown.
