Join us for City Serve 2023! On September 23rd, Citylight will be joining with churches all across Omaha to love and serve our community. City Serve is a time for us to come together across the Metro and love our neighbors! Our priority is to love our city by unleashing unprecedented compassion. We will be serving our Walnut Hill Neighborhood by helping to clean up the elementary school grounds, conducting neighborhood surveys, and collecting items for the Walnut Hill Elementary Pantry.

Pantry Collection

Citylight will also be collecting pantry items from September 23 - 24. Drop off items at the Connect Area on Saturday or Sunday. We are needing any brand for the following items listed below:

  • Canned fruit (peaches, mangos, apricots)
  • Canned coconut milt
  • Plain pasta
  • Tomato sauce
  • Rice (white, jasmine, brown, basmati)
  • Kabuli Palaw Rice
  • Vegetable oil
  • Raisins
  • Apple sauce
  • Granola bars
  • Mac-n-cheese (boxes & cups)
  • Pancake mix
Hygiene
  • Pads
  • Tampons
  • Deodorant (male & female)
  • Floss
  • Bandages
  • Cotton swabs
  • Brush (plastic hair pick, detangle brush)
