Global Partners
Bollito, South Africa
In 2019, while we were engaged, we attended the CROSS19 missions conference. It was there that we both felt Jesus burdening our hearts to leave the U.S. and engage in kingdom work globally, specifically for those unreached or overlooked. After getting married and having our first child, we began exploring organizations, praying about “what” and “where.” Through our sending organization, we eventually found the Love Justice International (LJI). We love that LJI is calling and equipping the local Church to engage in justice ministry as a witness to the power of the gospel and to the glory of Jesus, specifically amongst those who are being trafficked. LJI mobilizes local church members to monitor at-risk boarders, to recognize signs and intercept those being trafficked, and documenting data to arrest traffickers. Throughout this process, these monitors then get to share the gospel and follow up with those who were about to be trafficked. While Nick and Siana commit to making disciples through their local church in Bollito, South Africa, as a software engineer, Nick will also be helping build and maintain LJI's software tools to help gather vital data that can maximize their kingdom impact, while empowering the local church throughout Africa and Central Asia to engage human trafficking in their communities.
