After 5 wonderful years serving as the Director of Care at Citylight Church, God is calling us into the world of church planting to link arms with old friends (Cliff and Crystal McCray) who also faithfully served at Citylight, and serve the mission of multiplying disciples and churches in South Florida. Radiant City Church is in the heart of Boca Raton, and consists of a diverse family and body of believers devoted to pushing back darkness with the light of Jesus. God has opened some unique doors within the community and on campus at Florida Atlantic University, and His Kingdom is expanding through the presence and ministry of Radiant City. We are so humbled and excited to become a part of this family and movement.

Joy and I became friends with Cliff and Crystal in 2015-2016 when we all lived in Orlando, FL, where I attended seminary. I (Ben) went on to aid in some church planting efforts in South Carolina, while the McCrays felt called to join what God was doing through Citylight Church in 2017 as the West location was first opened. Maintaining a deep friendship, Cliff and I always talked about and wondered what it would be like to do ministry together. The time has finally come, and God's goodness in both the preparation and patience of this partnership is undeniable. Cliff and I have complimentary giftings and passions that together we believe can help the church grow both deep and wide.

Our (the Hamiltons) desire is to not take a salary from the church for the first two years so we can truly come in resourced to serve the people of Radiant City full-time, and provide a strong sense of stability and renewal for this beautiful people and congregation. Being Sent to Radiant City Church
Citylight’s mission is to multiply disciples and churches. As part of that mission, we intentionally send out some of our most gifted and equipped leaders, elders, and pastors to pioneer and plant new churches. After years of faithful ministry in Omaha, Ben and Joy Hamilton are stepping out in faith to join the team at Radiant City Church in Boca Raton, Florida. Prayer Requests

1) Pray for our family as we say goodbye to dear friends and as grief and excitement mingle.

2) Pray for Eli and Liki to handle the transition well, and that we would focus on loving and supporting one another.

3) Pray that God would provide financially for us through the generosity of others so we can put roots down and focus all our effort at bringing stability and new life to this young church plant.

4) Pray that we'd count it all joy, whatever God calls us to walk through this season, and that we would never feel as though we are walking alone.
